Literature Text

All the future we see,
Does it hold something for me?
All dappled green fields,
And sun kissed smiles,
Does it wait for me?
Will I fly among the clouds,
Or fall to the ground,
Just another face in the crowd,
I am not brave, I am not strong,
I fight with words and walk with love alone,
I am not loud, I'm the one they call whatshername,
Don't let me disappear,
I've got to get out of this place,
Let me be free,
Don't let me disappear,
All the future we see,
Of Heroes and hate,
And events we'll venerate,
Of moments we cry, and those who'll die,
Does it hold something for me?
Lately I feel like I've been working toward this impossible goal, and I'm doing it all for something I can't even grasp: a future.
I can't wait to get away from where I am, to break free and never look back and explore that great big scary world, but I so desperately don't want to become one of those people who when their old look back and talk about what they were going to do in their youth. I don't want to be that person, I want to talk about what I did do. I want to be the charming, cultured lady who'll regale you with tales of her amazing adventures.
Ah, listen to my rambling, I am in love with the character I've created in my head for myself haha I read far too many books =D.
I guess what I was trying to say was I don't want to miss out on these amazing opportunities the world has waiting, but it's so hard to take that first blind leap, ya know?
Anyway I hope you enjoy the poem and realize how much it means to me~! Please comment and follow me for more =D
P.S. I just realized this poem reveals how totally bi-polar I am haha oh wellz =P
